Daniel James, Manchester United young player accused of diving in his debut with the club. But Ryan Giggs, former Manchester United player, and a football pundit defended the young player and believed the young player would not have gone over deliberately trying to con the referee.
Daniel James was handed his full debut by Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solsksjaer in the match against Wolves on Monday night. But the young player rewarded with a yellow card midway through the first half. Wolves fans were convinced Daniel James had dived earlier in the game. But Ryan Giggs believed otherwise.
Daniel James Protected Himself From Being Kicked
Ryan Giggs explained to live casino Malaysia that Daniel James gets kicked a lot during the game. And he knows when one anticipate it, it can look like a dive. And he believes that’s what really happened during the match. With the speed Daniel James’ going at during the games it can look worse. Daniel James gets a lot of stick and referees need to protect him, but that’s not happened during that game. Daniel James protested his innocence to Jon Moss, but the referee waved away his objection.
Ole Gunnar Solksjaer made a similar argument to Ryan Giggs. He claims Daniel James was trying to get out of the way of Joao Moutinho’s challenge. The Norwegian manager also insisted that his player never got a foul on their first one. Ole Gunnar Solksjaer explained that Daniel James is that quick and he gets kicked so many times and it’s natural sometimes to protect himself. He also mentioned how many fouls Daniel James suffers throughout the games and he believed all his player did was trying to avoid being kicked.
